The Office of Faculty Affairs and Appointment and Promotions Committee is here to help you navigate the appointment and promotion process as well as retention of a diverse faculty. We are committed to providing advice and support as you embark on the path for appointment and promotion. We also can share resources that will facilitate this journey. We hope to inspire you to want to develop on a professional level.
Our office is here to provide you with all of the resources you will need as you embark on this process to be awarded an appointment, or reappointment and to achieve promotions. The following are documents to help guide you:

The process starts when the faculty member decides to apply for promotion or appointment. It is up to them to have a discussion with their Chairperson to discuss readiness for promotion. Please read through the materials carefully and feel free to email us at: SOMAPC@hmhn.org
